Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, the internet’s favorite media duo! The two share an amazing chemistry and their fun and banter never stops. Whatever Chuck says, Shaq has a witty little reply to it. Needless to say, this happens whenever Shaq opens his mouth as well. On a recent appearance on BigBoy TV, fellow analyst Kenny Smith was asked a couple of questions about the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew.

The host asked Smith who would get the better of each other if Shaq and Barkley ever decide to indulge in a fistfight. The former NBA star made an interesting revelation while also taking shots at Barkley.

This was revealed by two-time NBA champion Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith. When the host asked who would win between O’Neal and Barkley in a fistfight, Smith had a clear answer. Moreover, he also had a message for Barkley.

Smith said, “Shaq wins! I always tell Charles this all the time, he always threatens me, I’m like, yo you are not 1996 Charles. You two hip surgeries, 20 pounds overweight, I’m not scared of you. I will smack the living sh*t out of your mouth and you couldn’t catch me.”

Charles Barkley showed Shaq his place in 1999

Back in 1999, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Houston Rockets. While Shaq was in his prime, this was Barkley’s last year in the league. Nevertheless, the Round Mound of Rebound was still fit enough to floor Shaq.

During their game, Barkley threw a ball at Shaq which quickly heated things up. One thing led to another and the Lakers legend threw a punch at the 11-time All-Star. However, Shaq missed as Sir Charles had impressively ducked his swing.
