After months of anticipation, the 2021 NBA All-Star took place amid massive complications. Fans were treated to a dazzling display of shooting from the best players in the world, and it was Steph Curry and Damian Lillard who stole the show at Atlanta.

LeBron James struck the lottery this time by picking both Curry and Lillard to play for his team. It is the first time in All-Star history that Curry and James played together, and safe to say that it didn’t disappoint!

Team LeBron never gave Team Durant any chance of carrying the momentum in the game. That was largely due to how Steph Curry and Damian Lillard carried the game with their long-range shooting.

“That was the greatest display of distance shooting we’ve ever seen,” Skip Bayless expressed on his Fox Sports program.

Bayless’ comments might resonate with everyone who watched the 2021 All-Star game. Steph Curry controlled the first half with his flawless shooting, while Lillard took over in the final two quarters including making the game-winner.

“Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, are by far the two greatest distance shooters this league has ever seen. But why is that? Because they dare to be, because they can be,” Bayless mentioned.

Skip Bayless was impressed with how Curry and Lillard are owning the stage. He brought up examples from the past to depict how the game has evolved from the time when half-court shots were considered plain disrespectful.

Curry and Lillard finished with eight three-pointers each

Curry and Lillard were out of the world with their distance shooting. The Warriors star shot six three-pointers in the first half and took matters into his own hands. Naturally, fans and fellow NBA athletes were awe-struck with Curry and Lillard’s shooting.

Steph Curry finished the game with 28 points to his name with 50.0% three-point accuracy. Lillard boasted the same efficiency from beyond the arc, but bettered Curry’s effort and finished the game with 32 points.

The 2021 All-Star game was one-sided, to say the least. LeBron James didn’t contribute much as the rest of the roster filled in for their captain with immense effect. But Curry and Lillard deserved to be crowned co-MVPs for their stellar performance!
