Born to basketball-playing parents, Buzelis’ family immigrated to the US from Lithuania around 20 years ago. Victor Wembanyama awaits NBA debut

Wembanyama has garnered significant attention from NBA experts. Many consider him the most exceptional draft prospect since LeBron James. Some have even touted him as the greatest potential No. 1 draft pick in history. Despite his size as a big man, Wembanyama possesses the agility of a wing player. He has also showcased a diverse array of shots, including a reliable mid-range and 3-point shot. His towering height also presents a challenge for defenders trying to block his shots.

However, some NBA analysts have expressed concerns about his durability given his stature, suggesting that his transition to the NBA may not be straightforward. It is anticipated that Wembanyama will be drafted by the Spurs and commence his NBA journey in the 2023-2024 season.
