The Phoenix Suns are on cloud nine as they recently acquired Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets in a blockbuster trade. After the conclusion of the trade deadline, Suns fans seemed naturally excited to see KD on the court, as the two-time NBA champion’s presence on their roster immediately puts the Desert franchise in title contention. Last night, Durant visited the Footprint arena and received a warm welcome from the fans. As a result of this, the 13x All-Star was seen beaming with joy. However, NBA fans didn’t quite like the way he received the warm welcome and therefore, poured in their thoughts on social media.
Durant is currently sidelined due to an injury that he endured last month and is not expected to return until the All-Star break. Therefore, as of now, the Suns fans have to make do with seeing him on the courtside.

While the Suns fans showered their love on Durant, NBA fans had something different to say. They took to Twitter to express their thoughts and opinions. Most of them trolled KD by calling him a ‘snake’ and a ‘super team merchant’. Seemingly, the fans didn’t hold back with their words. While a few users wished him good luck on his new journey in the valley, most fans didn’t have very favorable opinions.
