The long and illustrious NBA career of Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan has seemingly seen it all. Now, a newly resurfaced video of a prime Jordan has torched NBA Twitter.

In 1985, Michael Jordan shattered a backboard in Italy with the force of his dunk. The momentum made it rain glass on his opponents, leaving him, impossibly yet possibly, completely unscathed.
Fans on social media responded to it. Many stood in absolute awe and others pointed out hilariously, “This should have been humanity’s last moment“.

It was the same year Michael Jordan finished his rookie year with the Chicago Bulls and made an international presence in Italy.

Around two years ago, his infamous #23 Stefanel jersey was auctioned. The value of the jersey was estimated to be between $3 million to $5 million. Nike later released a sneaker to celebrate this landmark play and smartly called it the ‘Shattered Backboard Air Jordans’.
In his first year alone, MJ?graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, announcing ‘A Star is Born’. He was named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year with people swarming to see the future GOAT in action.
