Before this year’s free agency commenced, the Golden State Warriors took the NBA world by surprise. Despite Jordan Poole having a four-year $128 million contract with the Dubs, they sent him to the Wizards. In exchange, Washington sent a 38-year-old Chris Paul to a Dubs side packed with veteran superstars. Anyhow, the GSW core seems to be excited to team up with CP3 in the bay. Draymond Green revealed he has great hopes in Paul. Likewise, centerpiece Stephen Curry too seems to be happy to have Chris Paul in the Golden State.

Social media has seen some activity from Steph lately. The four-time first bid farewell to his former teammate, Jordan Poole. Soon enough, an optimistic Curry took to a newest social networking space and welcomed GSW’s newest addition, Chris Paul.

Before things started to fall apart in the Warriors’ locker-room and later on the hardwood, Jordan Poole had a great time with Stephen Curry and Co. JP won a ring with them and closely followed the Splash Brothers in three-point scoring. Stephen Curry took to Instagram to say goodbye to his old friend.

“Now that the trade is actually final, felt like I will come up here and just say to JP, how much I appreciated the four years brother. You’re a champion, you grew up right in front of everyone’s face,” said Steph Curry on his Instagram story. Soon Curry recalled how Poole worked his way up and wished him good luck.

“CP, came way throughout with you brother. It will be different with us in the same side. Let’s get it let’s get it,”?Curry added. Thereafter, the nine-time All-Star made his presence felt on the Thread app, a rival app to Elon Musk’s Twitter to welcome CP3.

On Mark Zuckerberg’s latest social networking app, Stephen Curry posted pictures of himself and Chris Paul, taken during their All-Star appearances. Now that his All-Star teammate has become his Bay area teammate, Curry captioned the post, “North Carolina to the Bay, let’s get it.”

With his recent gesture, Stephen Curry has now joined Draymond Green to receive CP3 well in the Golden State. If Curry is determined to “get it” with CP3, Green looks forward to see how CP will be a mentor to a pack of young Warriors.

Draymond Green sees Chris Paul as a ray of hope
