The Memphis Grizzlies leveled the playoff series 1-1 in game 2. After losing out on game 1, they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers with the final score of 103-93. Although LeBron James put up a fight against the Grizzlies scoring 28 points, the team effort fell short at the final buzzer. However, that was not the only stinging outcome for King James from the day.
James was insulted during the game and even after it. Although he didn’t respond to any of the insults at the time, he brushed it off on Friday to focus on upcoming games. However, NFL legend Shannon Sharpe was unwilling to let go of the insults without adequately addressing them. He referenced Stephen Curry to fire shots at the Grizzlies star.

The 3x Super Bowl champion addressed Dillon Brooks’s actions and post-game words against LeBron on his show UNDISPUTED. Brook constantly got into LeBron’s face during game 2. Post-game, he had some more things to say about King James. Brooks said, “I don’t care, he’s old. You know what I mean?” He continued to unload more insults on the All-Time leading scorer of the game. He said, “I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40.” Notably, LeBron scored 28 points that game which was the highest from either of the teams. The 27-year-old also said that LeBron cannot take him one-on-one.
Sharpe and Skip Bayless addressed these insults on their show. Bayless said that he wants LeBron to “destroy this man.” Bayless said that Brooks “talks way better than he shoots.” Talking about his trash-talking against one of the greatest of all time, the two hosts agreed that Brooks is talking way more than he shoots. The 71-year-old further added“if he could shoot with his mouth, he would be pretty good.” The NFL legend quickly jumped in on this argument with a Stephen Curry analogy. Sharpe said that if Brooks could shoot from his mouth, “he would be Steph Curry.”
