Having appeared in the Drew League for the first time in more than a decade, LeBron James gave fans a treat with a strong performance. During the game, he was partnered with Chicago Bulls All-Star DeMar DeRozan. Due to the excellent teamwork between the two players, the duo’s performance was the highlight of the event.?

It ended in a victory for James’ team as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar scored 42 points, 16 rebounds, and four steals in the game.?Although, his shooting performance during the match was unimpressive, shooting only 2-13 from beyond the arc and missing one crucial free throw.

The performance of LeBron James at the Drew League has drawn much attention

It was arguably a great performance by the King in his first Drew League appearance since 2011. However, as critics noted, James did miss a free throw late in the game and shot 2-13 from beyond the arc.

Shaquille O’Neal’s son called out the disrespect aimed at LeBron after the Lakers star dropped 42 points in the Drew League. On his Twitter feed, he tweeted: ?Idk why people think the drew league doesn?t have elite basketball players ? about 95% of that league is all real hoopers !??

Although they won by two points, it goes against James’s expectations, since fans were expecting more. There will always be critics no matter what you do and Shaq’s son Shareef O’Neal taking sides was a great sight to watch. The tweet was well received by fans, who supported his statement and reacted positively to it.
