Shaquille O?Neal, Who Really Wants Brittney Griner Back in the US, Admits the One Big Mistake She Made: ?Wait Till You Get Home..?

The basketball world is certainly in a state of shock after WNBA star, Brittney Griner, was sentenced to 9 years. Recently, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal gave his honest opinion about the whole ordeal. In the latest episode of the ‘Big Podcast with Shaq’, Nischelle Turner and O’Neal discussed Griner’s situation in Russia.

Shaq couldn’t believe that Russia is asking for an ‘arms dealer’ in return for Brittney Griner in a prisoner swap. He said that he has only seen things like this in Bruce Willis movies.

O’Neal also speculated that Griner was deceived into pleading guilty. He said, “And then I’m hearing she was told, ‘Hey, you plead guilty. We will slap you on the wrist and let you go.’…”?The Big Diesel said that he hopes Griner is alright and said that it is an all-around unfortunate incident. He also said that he really wants Griner back in the U.S.

Turner said that the WNBA star looks okay physically. But she said that she is sure that Griner is not okay mentally because of the whole situation. Turner said that she is heartbroken every time she saw Griner speak. Nischelle also said that this is a warning to all the Americans that are traveling to countries that are not exactly friendly.

Shaquille O’Neal gives his advice

Nischelle Turner continued that people should know the laws of the country that they are traveling to. She said, “Make sure you know the laws. Make sure you know every little inch of how you are supposed to behave and supposed to move. Because as we see, any little thing. What she did is so little and minute.”?

She claimed that people can be used as a pawn for political games like Griner at the moment. Turner also asked the fans to never break a law on foreign soil.

The Lakers legend said, “And to add on to that. Wait till you get home!”?And Turner said, “Yeah. Listen, it’s legal here.” Unfortunately for Griner, she packed two vape cartridges with cannabis oil in a hurry.

Shaq added, “You’re right but wait till you get home. You make a perfect point. Know where you are. Know there are laws. It happens everywhere. Everybody’s doing it.”?

Then Turner brought up the news about Iman Shumpert being stopped in the Dallas airport with weed in his backpack. And said that it is happening everywhere. She then said that she prays Brittney Griner is brought back home. However, she admitted that she is worried about giving up an arms dealer back to Russia.
