Shaquille O’Neal, or ‘The Big Aristotle’, always had a soft spot when it comes to family, particularly his daughters, Me’ahra, Taahirah and Amirah O’Neal. He has always kept a close eye on his girls and places a high priority on their wellbeing. Taahirah was born in 1996 to Shaq and his ex-girlfriend, Yardbourgh. Me’ahra and Amirah were born to Shaq’s former wife, Shaunie Henderson. Shaq also has particular parenting techniques that he uses with his children.

Shaquille O’Neal addresses the Eboni Williams Saga
On a recent episode of her podcast, ‘The Grio’, Eboni K Williams explored masculine vs. feminine energy. She was joined by a life coach, Dr. Iyanla Vanzant. They were discussing how to straighten one’s crown when Williams made a controversial statement. This statement of hers was one of the topics that the co-hosts of ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq’ discussed this week. The co-hosts of the show, Nischelle Turner and Spice Addams, joined Shaq for this episode as well.
Eboni Williams stated that she would never date a bus driver but that she’d date one if they owned the bus. It was Nischelle Turner who brought up the topic on the podcast. Shaquille O’Neal admitted that he knew what Williams was saying and that everyone has their own preferences. However, the way she said it made it look, “a little stank.” Shaq subsequently explained that he didn’t take the statement personally. He then went on to state why her statement could have gone too far.
Shaq talked about “overeducating the simple mind.” When the lawyer starts using jargon like economic status, it can be confusing for others, as not everyone has a background in law. He said, “It’s more dummies than there is law-educated people that went to wherever she went to school at.” This might lead to misunderstandings when she speaks in legal terms to laymen. He said, “You know why it went too far? Cause she kept talking.”
Meanwhile, Shaquille O’Neal has his own set of dating rules for his children.
Shaquille O’Neal divulged on The Ellen Show
Shaquille O’Neal had some interesting parenting plans in place for his children. During his appearance on ‘The Ellen Show’ in 2018, the NBA legend revealed that his sons can date when they turn eighteen. However, his daughters can only date after they turn 24. When asked about the disparity in age for this rule, he said, “But my daughters are much smarter than my boys. And I want them to always be focused. And I want them to realize that, hey, you have to be happy within yourself. You don’t really need anybody to make you happy.”

Ellen then bought up a hypothetical question. What would happen if his daughters were to meet someone great at the age of eighteen or nineteen? Shaq had a threatening response to the question. He said, “I’m going to torture them.”
He continued stating that he’ll torture them by saying that he’s already been in their shoes, done all that they’re doing to woo a girl. He also revealed that he’ll let the guys know that he knows how they think. However, he wasn’t done just yet.
He said, “I’d just really really torture him. Torture him bad.”
