Shaq recently shared a clip on his official Instagram account. The clip appears to be from a high school gymnasium. The video starts with a player dunking with a basketball. And then suddenly mayhem ensures. The player dunks on the rim and holds onto the rim for just a little bit  longer. Just as he comes down, the entire apparatus for the basketball pole comes down with it. It was a miracle that nobody was hurt in this mishap.

Dunking is an integral part of basketball. And it is always pleasing to eyes to see somebody dunk the basketball. But as this video shows, all that glitters is not gold. People have to be really careful about their surroundings and about themselves when they attempt a dunk.

Shaq – The natural dunker

During his playing days, Shaq was known as a natural dunker of basketball. Because of his immense size and the never-seen before agility for that size, Shaq could bulldoze people and then dunk on them. He would receive the ball in low past and then, with his physicality and agility, manipulate the defender before dunking on them.

Shaq made dunking his go to move, and since then centers have been using it as a go to move for them. But what people need to realise is that to dunk properly, you need proper body control and a lot of practice. And as the video shows, there are other things to take care of too when you try to dunk like the other equipments. Dunking is great, but you have to be careful when you attempt it.
