“It is not one day in my life that I have a bad day. I dont have bad days. I make the day what I want it to be. So I don’t know what’s going on in your personal life, what’s going on in your private life, what’s going on in your school life, what’s going on in your life. Period. You gotta change the game. You gotta thermostat this — gotta hit the lights. Turn them on. Turn on those lights in your life man, turn them on. I know it’s dark for some of you, turn them on. I know some of your families aint doing well, turn it on. Everybody ain’t got what they want, turn it on. Everybody ain’t feeling what they tryna feel, turn it on. You got that kind of power. You gotta make today what you want it to be.”

Deion Sanders dropped some of the best motivation one can get. It is clear why Shaq shared it in his story and why every one of us would listen to Sanders talking about “turning it up”!
