Will Smith’s slap was heard around the world. Every talk show, podcast, and famous personalities has shared their opinion. NBA Hall of Famer, Shaquille O’Neal had some words on the case as well. Most of the time O’Neal puts his say out pretty straightforward. There have been talks about Will Smith apologizing to Chris Rock.
Shaq has a different opinion on Will’s apology. On the Big Podcast with Shaq, the Diesel said that he would do the opposite if he was in Chris Rock’s place.

Shaquille O’Neal on whether Will Smith’s apology was relevant
In his podcast, Shaq talks about all other platforms discussing Will Smith’s slap. “So now, everybody’s talking about it, Stephen A. and you know Shannon Sharpe. And everybody that has a large platform talking about it.”
This exchange had the internet blown in the first place. Will Smith’s slap has been played nearly half a billion times. And every large platform indeed has talked about this or mentioned the Oscars situation.

Shaquille O’Neal believes Chris Rock should talk about the slap in his stand up performance
Well, Chris Rock might talk about it in one of his stand-up performances, though Shaq does not believe Will’s apology holds any relevance. Shaq mentioned that stars like Jim Carrey and other celebrities talked about it, which was the reason Will had apologized in the first place, else he would have waited.

There have been numerous takes on whether Will Smith’s actions were right considering the situation. Right or not, such actions by a respected actor on the Oscar stage had all shook.
