Dominance, success, and honesty, these words are often associated with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. While millions around the world are aware of Shaq’s exploits on the basketball court, one of his biggest traits is his honesty.
The 4-time NBA champion regularly gives his opinions regarding some of the issues surrounding the basketball world and beyond. Talking on the recent episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, he went all out.

Recently, former Super Bowl champion Aqib Talib came into the news for all the wrong reasons. His older brother, Yaqub Talib, was accused of murder after he shot one of the coaching staff during a Pee Wee game.
This occurred after a disagreement between teams in a park that also had parents and children. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal held nothing back as he bashed the convict.
Shaq said, “Wait, hold on. I have a rant. You should be f**king ashamed of yourself to have a weapon at a f*cking Pee Wee game. If you came to a fight and you pulled your f*cking gun out, and shoot around all the babies, we taking it too far now. We talk about them and what they doing to us, we doing a lot of shit to us.“
After widespread news coverage and a warrant to arrest him, Talib finally surrendered to the police.
Shaquille O’Neal once faced trouble due to his rant
When the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Toronto Raptors in 2004, trouble loomed for Shaquille O’Neal. Despite winning the match comfortably, O’Neal had a lot to say about the officiating in the game.

He bashed the referees during a post-game interview on a local radio station. O’Neal lost all control during the rant and he included profanity, which led to a fine.
The association did not like his actions and suspended him for the next game against the Indiana Pacers. Moreover, his rant cost him around $295,000.
