In a recent episode of ‘The Big Podcast‘, Spice Adams asked the other co-host, Nischelle Turner, about the biggest money lessons they have learned. Turner started to answer but was interfered by Shaq. He also revealed the amount he paid for the house he bought in Los Angeles.

Shaq answered, “Not to spend cash on things that I want right away. My first house in LA was three five. I didn’t even know nothing. I didn’t even know what a mortgage was. Get it. How much you got in the bank, man? You got alright, bye.”

“I used to just buy everything with cash. I had so much money, I just buy everything with cash. But now, I’m smart,” he added.

However, Shaq admitted that he is ‘smart’ now when it comes to managing his finances. He has surely learned to invest money for the future and his investments have already been reaping benefits.
