Throughout NBA history, Shaquille O’Neal has always been considered to be the most dominant player. He walks on the court with great confidence, as if to assure his win with his teammates. During his playing days, he was always known for the quality of his game and his performance on the court. Whether it be as a former professional basketball player to a businessman and NBA analyst, the same confidence can be seen in him.

Shaquille O’Neal believes he and Kobe were the best duo in the NBA’s history

With their great performances and sometimes feuding, Shaq and Kobe always made headlines with their duo. However, in July of 2020, he uploaded an Instagram picture that contained a list of the top ten duos of all time. Kobe and Shaq were at the top of this list. In the caption, it states: “I didn’t make this list up, but I agree with it. What you think?” Shaq wrote on the post.

As a duo, Shaq and Kobe really made a name for themselves during their last NBA season, making it to the three-peat. In comparison to other NBA duo’s, Shaq and Kobe made an impact on the leagues they played, and their highlights are something that every basketball fan enjoyed watching.

During the interview with Garyvee, Shaq explained how the Lakers convinced him to play as a duo with Kobe and what made him agree. He signed a seven-year $121 million contract to get on board. He agreed to play with a college player. Later, that college player went on to become Kobe Bryant, one of the greatest players in NBA history.

He also told about his experience when he moved to Los Angeles and bought many properties that his taxes had gone up. It went so high that he had to get serious about spending money so easily.
