Shaquille O’Neal vehemently rejected former San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Anthony Adams’ claim that he had undergone surgery to better his looks. The Big Man maintained that his looks were completely natural and he had never undertaken any surgery to enhance his aesthetics.
As a matter of fact, Shaq ascribed the credit for his good looks to his mother Lucille O’Neal and the great care she took of him during childhood. Among other things, he mentioned the use of “baby oil“, “cocoa butter“, and a “lot of Vaseline” to nourish his “beautiful African skin” in his childhood days.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Shaq claimed that he is the best looking 7-feet man in the world. Co-host Nischelle Turner took a poll on her Instagram to see what people felt about such a grandiose claim. The result was 67% to 33% in favor of Shaq’s claim.
The outcome of the poll amused Shaq. He went on a brief soliloquy on the secrets to his beautiful “face“, “skin“, “bo**y” etc. Meanwhile, former Chicago Bears defensive tackle and co-host Anthony ‘Spice’ Adams interjected with the claim that it’s all the result of surgery.
The NFL veteran surely meant it as a joke. But Shaq took the accusation seriously and didn’t waste any time denying it. “No. No surgery. Cut it out. There’s no surgery“, replied the 7’1” giant. He seemed pretty disconcerted with such an outlandish claim.
Shaq dyes his beard white
The incident happened on the most recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, called ‘The Big Dye Lie‘. Shaq’s looks became a common refrain in the episode after the NBA legend’s ambitious claim a few days ago.
Shaq shocked special guest Adam Sandler by revealing that he’s only 50-years-old. Sandler was genuinely surprised by the discovery. Spice Adams chimed in with the theory that Shaq looks younger because he dyes his beard.
Shaq retaliated saying that he used to dye his beard white before to look older. Therefore, now it is in its natural color. The entire room broke into a fit of laughter.
However, the conversation kept reverting to Shaq’s looks. After denying the surgery claims, Shaq emphatically declared, “I’m going to be the best looking old and retired NBA player ever.”
Adams responded by saying he will soon end up on the show My 600-lb Life, getting treatment from popular bariatric surgeon Dr Nowzaradan.
