Shaquille O’Neal was a superhuman athlete in the NBA. A true freak of nature, everyone feared him on the court. Add in a ton of competitiveness, and the Big Diesel was born. However, even after retirement, his competitive nature didn’t leave his body. And he refused to share his title with another great Orlando Magic center, Dwight Howard. Now, he reminded the whole world of what happened during the All-Star game.

The battle between Shaq and Howard has been going on for the longest time. It all started when Shaq didn’t accept Howard as the new ‘Superman’. He grilled the fellow Orlando center and they both went back and forth. It doesn’t look like there will ever be peace between the two legends.

In the most anticipated match-up between the bigs, the Big Diesel showed off his mean handles. And 13 years later, O’Neal shared the moment on his Instagram for the world to see.

With both the “Supermans” going at each other, Shaq was on an island with Dwight Howard. Visibly, Howard was talking throughout. However, all Shaq had in his mind was to embarrass the newcomer. In the blink of an eye, the four-time NBA champ put the ball through Howard’s legs and finished the play with a rim-shaking slam.

But for the big fella, the 2009 All-Star game meant a lot more than this rivalry. After feuding for years and years, Kobe Bryant and Shaq were on the same side. Ironically, the two won co-MVP during that All-Star game. However, after the game, Kobe gave the award to Shaq. This sentiment touched the Big Diesel. From there the two repaired their relationship and there was no longer any tension.
