In the recent episode of ‘The Big Podcast with Shaq’, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal answered questions from fans on social media. The duo first talked about the situation of WNBA star Brittney Griner. They admitted that they really want her back home in the United States.

In the podcast, there were a lot of relationship questions to O’Neal. And the Big Diesel answered every one of them one after the other. Then there was this interesting question from a woman.

It was about a man ghosting her after going out on multiple dates. Furthermore, the man also promised to make their long-distance relationship work. So she asked, “Why do people ghost? Why can’t they grow up and say how they really feel?”

And Turner said that she feels for the woman, saying it is the worst feeling to be ghosted by someone. However, O’Neal had a different reaction. Shaq said, “He ghosts because he was pissed off.” And Nischelle asked why would he be pissed off because everything was good. O’Neal answered, “Yeah but obviously she must’ve said something.” 

Shaquille O’Neal gives relationship advice

Shaq’s answer triggered a reaction from Nischelle who yelled, “Oh Shaquille! Don’t you dare!” And initially, the Los Angeles Lakers legend was scrapped for words. However, he composed himself and said that he was just giving out all the assumptions. He then suggested that he and Nischelle should investigate the crime: the ghosting.

And Shaquille O’Neal listed some of the reasons that could have made the man ghost. He said that the woman may have said something, the man may have other stuff going on, the man may be scared, or the man could have lost his phone, etc.

However, the Big Diesel also had some serious questions for the woman. O’Neal asked, “Did you give up the cookies on the trip?” And Turner admitted that is a very good question. Shaq continued, “Let me tell you something about ‘playas’. Both women and men. We do what we gotta do to get what we want!” 

He then said that they don’t have enough information to make a further investigation. Therefore, he had to put the case with the cold case files. He then told the woman she will be fine and encouraged her to move on.
