The Brooklyn Nets took on the Milwaukee Bucks on March 31st. This showdown sparked a rematch of the 2021 Eastern Conference Semifinals. The game went down to the wire, even in overtime. In the end, Milwaukee had the best of the Nets, as they won the game 120-119. There were some plays that replicated their previous playoff series.
Giannis scored a whopping 44 points with 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Whereas Kevin Durant had 26 points and 11 assists. Both the players had a fantastic game, with Durant and Giannis making clutch shots. Giannis, the Greek Freak, has been putting up such performances every night. Though is he the best player in the league?

Shaquille O’Neal praises Giannis Antetokounmpo and his mentality
After the game, the TNT crew reacted to Giannis’ performance. Not only Giannis’ game heavily impressed Shaq, but also his mindset.
Giannis passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time leading scorer for the Bucks. After the game, Giannis received the game ball from coach Budenholzer. Even so, Giannis didn’t look as excited. This caught Shaq’s attention.
“When they showed him getting the game ball, looking at his face,” said Shaq. When asked what did he saw in Giannis, he said, “I saw something that you earthlings should be worried about.”

Antetokounmpo also hit a game-tying step back three in the fourth quarter. It’s impressive how Giannis has improved his outside shooting. Shaq loves how Giannis is playing right now and now approves of his shooting as he says, “He’s shooting that jumper with confidence. Like you know, we used to say ‘Oh don’t shoot that’. Can’t say that anymore about Giannis.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming after LeBron, D-Wade and other greats
Giannis has been leading his team like a King this year. Coming from winning multiple championships and being one of the greats himself, Shaq says that one day the league will belong to Giannis.
“It takes a certain animal, a D-Wade, a Kobe, a LeBron to say. Yeah I know you the best player, I’m coming. One day you gonna say this league belongs to me, and that’s the way he is now.”
