Shaquille O’Neal held nothing back on a recent podcast. While talking to Robert Horry and Richard Jefferson of the Big Shot Bob podcast, Shaq talked about the NBA and some other aspects of the league. He also shared his opinions regarding the Chicago Bulls.
What he said would certainly cause upsets among the Chicago Bulls fanbase. Let’s take a look.

The Chicago Bulls are having a blast of a season. They are currently second on the Eastern Conference table are looking comfortable for a playoff spot. Many consider them to be the surprise of the season, but Shaq has other opinions.
According to Shaq, “They got a nice, young, fast core. But they are not championship ready but they gonna make some noise.“

Shaq also mentioned how the Bulls are going to cause some upsets, but they are not yet ready for a championship and they’ll certainly find it difficult to clinch the NBA championship.
The Brooklyn Nets and the Golden State Warriors are prime contenders to win the title this season.

The Bulls’ season so far
The Chicago Bulls are performing way better than expectations. Led by DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic, the Bulls have caught everyone’s attention. They are coming fresh off of a 131-117 win against Atlanta Hawks and lost 10 games so far.
The Chicago Bulls team has been dubbed as the dark horses this season and they look to cause some major upsets. DeRozan leads the team averaging 26.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists this season. Rising star Zach LaVine follows DeRozan closely with a 26.3 points average. Chicago Bulls are among the many teams that are suffering from health and safety protocols. They are missing key players Lonzo Ball and Tony Bradley, who were placed in the health and safety protocol of the league recently.
The Bulls face the Indiana Pacers next who have not been very effective this season. They are currently in 13th place in the Eastern Conference and are struggling for a playoffs spot.
