Shaq is known for not mincing any words regarding any topic around the world. In a recent interview, Shaq was asked about the NBA MVP and the NBA championship. He gives his honest opinion on the topic which might disappoint many fans. He picks the Philadelphia 76ers star player Joel Embiid as his MVP pick. Many have speculated the Phoenix Suns or the Milwaukee Bucks to take the championship this year. But Shaq feels otherwise. According to him, the favorite to win the championship this year is the Golden State Warriors led by Stephen Curry.
This is not the first time that Shaq has shown the love he has for the Warriors team. He once called Curry and the Warriors to be his favorites to watch in the league.

What does Shaq feel about the Golden State Warriors?

Addressing the name change and how bad the Lakers are, Shaq said, “I don’t celebrate seventh place at all. I celebrate Steph Curry. I’ll go to Golden State and watch him play.”
The Warriors are currently in second place, right behind the championship favorites Phoenix Suns in the western conference. Shaq’s former team, the Los Angeles Lakers on the other hand are having a horrific season. They are currently struggling for a playoff spot in their conference as they are in the 9th position.
