In another upsetting end to the season, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the San Francisco 49ers. After completely annihilating Tom Brady in the previous round, Cowboy fans had their hopes up. However, their wait continues. Before the game even began, there was a little surprise among the fans. Notably, after missing 4 PATs in the last game, Brett Maher was back on the field as the kicker. On a recent episode of the Big Podcast, Spice Adams felt Dallas should have fired him. However, Shaquille O’Neal feels the focus should be on the main job instead of Maher’s prior mistakes.
Shaq himself is a long-time Cowboys fan. Likewise, he too had to watch his time sink in the NFL Divisional round. The game in all was low scoring. The 49ers won 19-12 in a contest that had drama until the end. After a heroic performance against Tampa, Dak Prescott had a rough passing night. Notably, the QB threw for just 206 yards and 1 TD in the loss. Moreover, his accuracy fumbled from the last time as he completed just 23 of his 37.
However, while his performance was arguably the integral reason behind the Cowboys’ loss, Nischelle Turner and Adams were both focused on Maher being back on the field. That is when the Big Diesel stepped in and corrected the duo. Notably, he feels his previous failures shouldn’t matter in the face of Prescott’s shortcomings.

Shaquille O’Neal wants the blame where it should be
Turner picked up the Cowboys topic and opened with shock. After watching Maher’s nightmare game, she couldn’t believe Jerry Jones didn’t fire his kicker. Spice Adams shared a similar opinion. Shockingly, Shaq opposed both of them calling them hypocrites. His point of view saw them holding Dak Prescott accountable for failing to deliver. And he used an interesting ideology to prove his point. Notably, Shaq was put in the same spot when he missed free throws and got the blame for losses.

In a recent episode of the Big Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal said, “Woah, Woah, Woah you little hypocrites. Now you see, I would never allow that. That’s my point. You going to say something about me for missing nine free throws what about the five wide open shots you missed when I got four guys on me and I kick it out.”
Shaq went on to say he got the majority of the blame for his poor free-throw shooting. Even though teammates would miss wide-open shots, the Big Diesel being the main guy was held accountable. Likewise, he wants the co-hosts to hold Prescott to the same blame. The QB is considered to be arguably the most important man on the field. According to the Hall of Famer, if he can’t do his one job, then what Maher did or didn’t do shouldn’t matter.
