O’Neal shared a post in one of his many Instagram stories of Ali blaming Stallone for stealing the Rocky script from him. In the clip, Ali appeared quietly behind Stallone while he was on the mic. Stallone did not realize it until the audience started laughing. Ali said, “I’m the real Apollo Creed. You stole my script, you stole my script. No, I saw it, I watched the movie, you stole my script. All that was me, I’m the Apollo Creed. “

This was a hilarious sequence, as Ali challenged Stallone on stage. It is one of the most memorable Oscar moments. In reality, if Stallone ‘Rocky’ was to fight Muhammad Ali, it would be an interesting match, but Ali, being the GOAT, would come out victorious. O’Neal once fought in a boxing match
In 2009, Shaq fought boxing promoter, Oscar De La Hoya. This was an unexpected matchup as Shaq stood 7 feet tall at 325 pounds to fight his opponent, who was almost 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds. This was a five-round sparring match that attracted a lot of viewers.

To everyone’s surprise, the match was not so short. Both the fighters fought 5 rounds and in the end, Oscar De La Hoya won by unanimous decision. Well after this match, boxing was definitely not for O’Neal.
