The Timberwolves beat the LA Clippers in the play-in tournament to qualify as the seventh seed for the playoffs and now face a juggernaut in Memphis. Memphis is a team on the rise even though people expected little from them before the season began, but they have surprised everybody this season.
Ja Morant is here to take over
Now, just before the series is about to start, Ja has let everybody know his team is here for it and is going for it all this season. He said, “You remember the quote I said? We ain’t ducking no smoke. We run up the chimney.”

Joining scores of fans in supporting the Grizzlies is Shaquille ‘O Neal , the legendary Lakers center. He believes Ja Morant is a superstar right now and just last month compared him to Allen Iverson.
Review of the series
Just like the Grizzlies, the Timberwolves also have a lot to prove this season. This is the first time they have qualified for the playoffs since the 2017-18 season, but that run didn’t end well with Jimmy Butler ultimately leaving the team in the offseason. Even though KAT is the de facto team leader, the key to this whole series just might be Anthony Edwards.
Anthony Edwards has been a key reason for his team’s growth, as he has taken a gigantic leap in his sophomore year and now belongs in the conversation for one of the best youngsters in the league.
