Shaquille O’Neal has proven his kindness on multiple occasions. Most recently, the 49-year-old helped a single mother with her furniture shopping and paid for everything. After Thanksgiving, comes Giving Tuesday. In order to commemorate the same, Shaq has now announced a wonderful initiative to help fans in need. Partnering with Reebok and with the help of his own foundation, he is set to aid tons of people in need of money.
In a career spanning two decades, Shaquille O’Neal won four NBA championships. A nasty proposition to come up against, he partnered with the likes of Kobe Bryant at LA to form one of the deadliest teams ever seen. Slowly but surely earning the big bucks, the 15-time All-star understood his way around money. Developing his brand and investing in the right places, Shaq evolved into a business giant. Widely regarded as one of the game’s best-ever centers, he continues to make merry off the court.

To celebrate Giving Tuesday, Shaq addressed his gesture. He explained in the caption of his post, “Today is Giving Tuesday and to celebrate, my Reebok family is giving $10 from every UNLOCKED member purchase on Reebok.com to Boys & Girls Club of America up to $250,000. This campaign ends December 31st and a portion of the funding will go towards bringing @bokskids to @bgca_clubs. In the spirit of the season, @shaqfoundation will match Reebok dollar-for-dollar to double down on the donation to BGCA. Let’s give back to those who need it this holiday season!”
Thus, the Lakers legend is not only using his money wisely in the business field; he is also giving back to society in whichever way possible. Courtesy of his generous initiative, hundreds of children will be benefited in the country!
