Former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and actor Adrien Brody are two such celebrities known for their love for expensive cars and accessories. Both of them gave away Rolls Royces but powered a big car fashion in 2003.

A few months ago, Shaquille O’Neal addressed the rumors about gifting Lebron James a Rolls Royce on the Big Podcast. NFL veteran and co-host of the Big Podcast with Shaq, Spice Adams asked Shaq if the rumors were true. The four-time NBA champ replied, “I may have, I think I did. I’m not sure.” The hosts were surprised by the fact that Shaquille did not remember giving away an expensive car like the Rolls Royce.

Meanwhile, Hollywood actor Adrien Brody also pulled off a similar feat when he gave away his Rolls Royce in 2013. As per reports, Brody once stopped at a popular art gallery named Lab Art in Hollywood. He was deeply impressed by renowned street artist Alec Monopoly’s works and ended up buying five paintings worth $20,000. Brody had reportedly gone to the gallery to check on his old Rolls Royce which he donated to Monopoly as the artist turned his car into an art piece.

Shaq and Brody’s love for cars and massive gestures are not limited to particular instances. They once made a huge contribution to the popularity of big and customized SUVs.

SUVs were rapidly taking over the automobile market in the 2000s. The SUV marketplace changed the way how people customized their vehicles as a lot more emphasis was given to entertainment setups and unique designing. The big SUV fashion quickly caught up with stars and celebrities.

Shaquille O’Neal bought himself a maroon Cadillac Escalade. The car’s backside was filled with a wall of speakers with the Superman logo. Moreover, the custom front grille emblem also features a Superman theme.

Elsewhere, Adrien Brody’s Black Hummer took the cover of the automotive lifestyles magazine, DUB. Brody’s Hummer had custom rail guards and bumpers and was fitted with 24-inch centerpiece wheels. Moreover, the video screens inside the car were built into the headrests for comforting entertainment.
