James, who is having yet another impressive individual season, put up a monster night against his former team. However, the King’s Herculean efforts failed to overcome the Lakers’ flaws. In the post-game press conference, frustrated James spoke his mind on his career, future, and retirement plans. Unsurprisingly, the 4x NBA champions’ words took the NBA world by storm. Likewise, the fiery speech took up a spot the following day in the popular debate show, Undisputed.?

Soon, the show’s hosts, Shanon Sharpe and Skip Bayless engaged in a passionate discussion while reacting to James’s candid speech. Amid the discussion, Hall of Fame tight end Shanon Sharpe issued a passionate monologue about the King’s legacy and impact due to his recent struggles with the Lakers. While doing so, Sharpe also dragged Michael Jordan into the picture and compared James’s fate to the Wizards’ MJ.?

Sharpe said,?“We give Jordan a break because he wasn’t the same guy. He averaged 20 points in both seasons, 20 and six rebounds. That’s good. But look at this man [James] is averaging 28-8-6. Last year he averaged, what, 30-8-6, and it did what?”

The NFL vet also commented on the King’s perceived legacy due to Lakers’ struggles, implying that Lakers superstar should possibly consider a trade next season “Yeah but he missed the play-offs three out of the last five years. Four out of the last six. Five out of the last seven. That’s not how he wants to be remembered, especially with how he’s playing now.”

The King is having another impressive season averaging 27.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. However, the Lakers have struggled all season. They currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference as the 13th seed with an underwhelming record of 14-21.
