Each postseason, there is usually one upset that no one sees coming. This year, it was the Milwaukee Bucks who became the victims. After finishing the regular season with the best record in the NBA, it was meant to be another deep playoff run. However, they came up against Playoff Jimmy Butler. On the back of one of the greatest individual postseason series in league history, the Miami Heat defeated the Bucks in just five games. Understandably, The Greek Freak wasn’t the usual jolly giant he is after the game. A ‘wrong question’ triggered the built-up rage inside Antetokounmpo as he brought up NBA icon Michael Jordan’s name to defend himself.
The outcome of the series is more surprising after considering the fact that Giannis played well and they had a fully fit Khris Middleton back. But it wasn’t meant to be for the ‘Deer District’ this year.

The Bucks’ season is over. Giannis dropped 38 points in a losing effort. As a competitor, he was dejected, and his body language was proof. Sitting in front of the media, a reporter asked him if he considered Milwaukee’s season to be a failure. Turns out, the same reporter asked the two-time MVP the same question last season. Almost instantly, Giannis looked disturbed by the narrative. And right away he snapped.
After an initial outburst where he questioned the reporter’s concept of failure, the Greek Freak was able to regain his composure. After getting a hold of himself, Antetokounmpo went into further detail. “Michael Jordan played 15 years, and won six championships. The other nine years was a failure?” asked a boiling Giannis to the reporter.
