The month longs curiosity now finally has an answer. The 7’4 crafty yet imposing French national is most likely heading to San Antonio. Spurs fans, who have long waited for a star to turn things around, celebrated their luck. The franchise has a rich history, once being a powerful dynasty. But the days of Tim Duncan are long behind, and it is now ready to begin the Victor Wembanyama era.
His move to San Antonio was one he predicted. Wembanyama believes France has a special relationship with the city due to fellow Frenchman and Spurs legend Tony Parker, who won championships besides Duncan.
As he looks to carry forward his legacy, he spoke to the media. In an interview, the 19-year-old star explained what he has to offer. And it’s safe to say, Wembanyama has his eyes on an instant transformation. “A team player. I am going to make everything to win as many games as I can. I’m trying to win a ring ASAP so, be ready.”
