Serena Williams Reveals Her Elite GOATs List Which Includes “Amazing” LeBron James and “Original” Michael Jordan

Currently, American tennis legend, Serena Williams is planning to retire from tennis, and it is expected to happen quite soon. According to news reports, Williams will retire from sports after the US Open. The 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams, ranks Michael Jordan, and LeBron James, among the best athletes of all time in her recent interview.

All these years of hard work have led to her becoming an all-time elite athlete who has transcended her sport and reached the highest level through her performance. In addition to including herself on that list of the greatest players, she also mentioned the names of the players she loves.

For the names, she threw in Formula one star, Lewis Hamilton, basketball legends like LeBron James, and Michael Jordan, golf legend Tiger Woods, and finally her own name. The Big Three of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic were also added to her statement.

As she lists the names in her GOAT category list, she elaborates on how hard it is since there are so many names to add. “That’s so not fair because I can’t limit that. I think LeBron [James] is amazing. I think Tiger [Woods] is amazing. Can’t start this conversation without naming the original, Michael Jordan. So, I just think that those are, like, legendary names that will live on.”

She further iterates, “And, you know, you can put me in there too. For sure [I belong in that conversation], hands down. And I mean, tennis, hello. Roger, Rafa, Novak. I mean those three are legends.” It is a difficult time not only for tennis fans to say goodbye to such an elite player but also for the entire sports community as well.
