Before becoming an NBA icon, LeBron James was a star player on his high school basketball team. It was during these days that he fell in love with his now wife and mother of three kids, Savannah James. Savannah James used to be a softball player and a cheerleader as well in high school. LeBron showed interest in Savannah and invited her over to a basketball game. However, she initially showed no interest in the Akron Hammer.
A few days later, she went on a date with him. They eventually started seeing each other.
Savannah James recently appeared for an interview with The Cut, where she revealed the “corny” moment when she knew that he was ‘the one’ for her.
She revealed that she had gone to Outback Steakhouse for her first date with LeBron. She had packed up the leftovers to take them home. After LeBron dropped her off at her house, she realized that she had left her food in his car.
Savannah said, “I realized it once I got in the house because then I was about to eat for real. But he called me and was like, ‘I got your food. I’m going to come back and drop it off.’ And I’m like, ‘You just want to see me again. Okay, bring my food.'”
