The Chicago Bulls boast of having one of the best basketball squads ever. Led by Michael Jordan, the Bulls dominated the league for a decade. However, it was not only Jordan who helped the Bulls get where they are today. Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman are names that don’t receive a lot of praise.
Pippen, in particular, has bashed MJ for stealing all the limelight on ‘The Last Dance’ documentary. Moreover, Pippen has also pointed out that he was massively underpaid on multiple occasions.

When asked about his feelings when he was underpaid, Scottie said, “I think at the time there were moments when it was upsetting but also there was so much joy that rose among the pain that I was feeling.“
However, he got his big break after leaving the Bulls. Scottie joined the Houston Rockets and he was finally earning what he deserved. Interestingly enough, he made one of his biggest mistakes in investment during this period.
Scottie Pippen once lost out on millions due to a hasty decision
Pippen joined the Houston Rockets after 12 glorious seasons with the Chicago Bulls. Despite being one of the best players on the team, Scottie never received his share of praise and money.
He earned not more than $2 million during his previous stint with the Bulls. On the other hand, Michael Jordan earned more than $30 million during his latter stages with the Bulls. (Source: Hoopshype.com)
After leaving the Bulls, Pippen joined the Houston Rockets in 1999 on a huge contract. To celebrate this new phase in his life, Scottie splashed around $4 million to buy a jet that was for sale in Miami.
Scottie inspected the private jet himself and he fell in love with it instantly. The former NBA champion made the mistake of buying the jet on the spot without proper inspection.
