Despite such amazing performances from the two, one thing was missing. It was Brooklyn’s 3rd superstar – Kyrie Irving.
The former all-star game MVP was sidelined after violating the league’s health protocols. He will most likely return for their Monday night’s clash with the Milwaukee Bucks.
James Harden talks about Kyrie Irving’s return
In the post game media conference, Harden spoke about what fans should expect from the team once Kyrie is back. He said:
“I am so excited for Kai [Kyrie Irving] to get back. He’s a key piece to what we’re trying to do and you know the chemistry. So we can build that, the sooner we’re on the court together, it’s gonna be scary hours.”

But the Nets shouldn’t scratch their heads over this as it was Harden’s first game with new teammates. Additionally, he didn’t even get a chance to be a part of a full-fledged practice with the team. Once he builds the chemistry with the team, the sky is the limit for them.
