Defending NBA superstar Stephen Curry is one of the hardest jobs in the league. The sharpshooter’s off-the-ball movement is elite. In fact, he is one of the best ever at leaving his defenders in the dust as he weaves past off-ball picks to make space. Over the years, Curry has gotten better at his craft, thanks to his conditioning. However, this shocking revelation regarding Curry’s training drills left NBA fans in utter disbelief and further established that greatness demands a hefty price.
Recently, there was an interesting report about Curry’s workout session that spread through the Internet swiftly. As per reports, one NBA player tried to keep up with the Golden State Warriors superstar’s routine. However, the unnamed player was done just after five minutes as he could not cope with the intensity of the workouts.

Fans went wild at this report about the work out of Stephen Curry
A report about Stephen Curry working out with an unnamed player recently went viral on social media. The report read, “We?ve had a player, who?s still in the NBA, go through the first five minutes, sat down on the floor beside the door for about 30 seconds, stood up, went outside and threw up, and was done.”
This shocked fans around the world. Even though most fans know about his ability to run circles around his opponents with or without the ball, not many could comprehend what his workout did to a fellow professional. And that too, to another NBA player. Here are some reactions:
Cap curry just skips like a fairy and throws the ball 100 times from 3 than goes home to listen to Christian rock and go to bed at 9pm

This makes a lot of sense when you think about how steph gets open, a large part of what makes him such a threat is that he's always moving and basically never stops

This is what makes him an all-time great. Lebron and curry probably have the most strenuous workouts. Lebron's focuses on athletic and ligament training to maintain his longevity while curry's is more endurance and shooting. They both do a lot of ankle exercises too.

I wish more players had his off ball movement. I’m a chicago bulls fan and our offense looks prehistoric. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an off ball screen. It’s all high pick and roll with vuc or Lavine/derozan iso.

The fact that Steph is a machine in terms of his conditioning is not talked about enough.

While many could not believe the report, some joked as they hilariously predicted who the unnamed player was. Nevertheless, Curry’s workout regimes are legendary. Before his breakout season in the NBA, his innovative ball-handling drills became popular. Then, his pregame shot attempts and the now viral shot from the tunnel were a huge hit with the fans as well.
Steve Kerr on Curry’s physical change
After a controversial start to their season, the Golden State Warriors started off with a win against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, things went south quickly. They did not look like the defending champions. The team at one point, lost five straight games and garnered an unexpected record of the worst start to a season by a reigning champion.
Steve Kerr asked the difference between Steph Curry’s unanimous MVP season in 2016 and now: “He’s 15 pounds heavier…He’s ripped. He’s physically very different now from then.”
