With a 34-37 season record, there is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling this season. After losing two consecutive games, things need to change for the Lakeshow if they want to make the playoffs. While trading Russell Westbrook away was seen as a step in the right direction for the franchise, results haven’t shown that. After getting ridiculed by many Lakers fans during his time in LA, Westbrook is now in a better situation with city-rivals Los Angeles Clippers and a certain family member was more than happy to see the Lakers’ struggles continue after trading Westbrook away.

The injury to LeBron James has obviously not helped the Lakers as they need all the firepower they can get to make a deep playoff push. And as per the reports, James is far from coming back to the Lakers lineup. So the onus lies on Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell to take the team into the postseason.

However, instead of focusing on what the Lakers need to do to turn things around, fans decided to troll the ex-Lakers? brother. One fan tweeted, ?Nobody cares about what that land whale has to say.?

While another fan commented, ?He better worry about his brothers performance against the Magic 5-14 fg, 0-3 from 3 and a team low -15 +/- rating.?

Here are a few more reactions from fans on Twitter.

While the majority of fans trolled Westbrook?s brother, others were still focusing on what the Lakers actually needed.

Is D’Angelo Russell helping LeBron James and the Lakers?

The move to part ways with Russell Westbrook had its pros and cons. While the Lakers got another proven scorer in return for Westbrook, the team may have lost that energy player who kept the team?s second unit energized.

There was no doubt that Westbrook?s game lacked in certain aspects. He was not the best shooter and had a huge turnover ratio. However, he provided that extra spark that the team lacks.

The Lakers certainly feel getting D?Angelo Russell was an upgrade over Westbrook. Despite one poor performance, D?Lo can knock down threes with ease. Not only that, but he is a great ball-handler as well.
