Russell Westbrook on dealing with criticisms

The 33-year-old future Hall of Famer has had a dismal start with his hometown team. After the acquisition of Russell Westbrook from the Washington Wizards, the Lakers were dubbed as being one of the championship contenders.

The Lakers have been performing way below expectations and Russell Westbrook has received nothing other than criticisms. Responding to his haters, he mentions, “I get to see my kids, my family, my mom, my dad,” he tells The Athletic.

Is Westbrook the problem at Los Angeles Lakers?

Although he may have been disappointing this season, Russell Westbrook isn’t the only problem at the Los Angeles Lakers. The team still relies on a 37-year-old LeBron James and his brilliance.

Despite LeBron playing phenomenally this season, he receives little or no help from his teammates. Anthony Davis averages 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game and has been injured since late last year. His shooting has let him down and he has one of the worst jump shot efficiency.
