NBA superstar LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are off to a terrible start to the season. After last season’s performance and not clinching the playoffs, there was a huge amount of pressure. But the Lakers looked confident despite their struggles in the pre-season games. Superstar center Anthony Davis who missed a lot of games in the past two seasons claimed they are title contenders. He stated they would like to ruin the ring night celebrations of the Golden State Warriors in the first game of the season.

But the reigning champions won the game comfortably with a scoreline of 123-109. Following that game, the Lakers then faced rivals Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers. Even though the two games were close, the results were the same. The Lakers’ poor three-point shooting continued in all three games. And most fans pointed their fingers at former MVP Russell Westbrook.
