As the NBA fraternity enters the All-Star break, the stars who have put in the hard work during the major part of the regular season, seem to be in a relaxed mood. The Eastern Conference All-Star team’s captain Giannis Antetokounmpo was beaming with joy when he answered the questions of keen journalists during the NBA All-Star Media Day press conference. Moreover, the 2021 NBA champ also flexed his dominating abilities on the hardwood while offering a bold take, which ended up riling NBA fans on Twitter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is enjoying his career-best scoring season with the Milwaukee Bucks, who currently stand second in the Eastern Conference with a 41-17 record. Meanwhile, The Greek Freak is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists, as he aims to win his second championship this season. Meanwhile, a confident Antetokounmpo recently made a bold claim about his ‘one-on-one’ abilities, triggering a heat wave among fans.

Sports journalist Darrick Miller recently posed an interesting question to Giannis Antetokounmpo during the All-Star media day conference. Miller asked, “What was the one-on-one like with Khris Middleton during practice?” The question from Miller drew an unimpressed expression from a laidback Giannis’ face. The 2021 Finals MVP responded, “One-on-one? C’mon man! You gotta build a wall to stop me these days… Boston does it, Chicago tried to do it, Miami did it. There’s a thing called the Giannis wall, you know at the end of the day. So, there’s no one-on-one in my world.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo added,?“There’s me playing against two guys, three guys, four guys. One-on-one is my thing. It’s impossible.”
The 7 ft tall Giannis claimed that it was nearly impossible for a single player to stop him, as he always found himself being defended by several players of the many teams he had faced. Thus, he was pretty confident that the one-on-one situation was not applicable in his case.
Unfortunately for Antetokounmpo, the bold take about his domination in the NBA did not impress the fans too much, as they slammed the two-time MVP. One of the furious fans wrote,?“He?s not even that good. Run and dunk merchant thinks he?s all that lmao.”

I mean, when he's allowed to play football in the NBA I can see why he feels this way.
