And one of the craziest came up with the Los Angeles Lakers. A possible superstar swap between KD and LeBron James came on the table. However, an analyst believes the King isn’t a fan of the idea.
LeBron James and Kevin Durant have been battling for the longest time. Both have their unique gifts, and their bout to be the best has been a spectacle. But after a series of Finals matchups, the two have barely been on the same floor. However, they have surpassed all expectations in that time.
Both were on top of their games this previous season. And with KD wanting out, a fair deal was in place. But LeBron has told the Los Angeles Lakers that isn’t happening.

LeBron James is not interested in the Nets deal
The NBA world was running wild when a possible Kevin Durant–LeBron James swap hit the scene. What would be one of the biggest blockbuster trades of all time would likely shatter the league. But according to Chris Broussard, the Akron Hammer has vetoed the trade. With his respect within the Lakers, the analyst revealed LeBron is not interested in going to the Brooklyn Nets at all.

Broussard said: “I talked to somebody close to LeBron and he would not want this to happen. The Lakers respect LeBron enough that they’ll do what he wants to do.”

The Lakers won’t trade their best player averaging nearly 30 points per game. James is arguably the main weapon around which the purple and gold revolve. The only star they are reportedly willing to give the Nets is Russell Westbrook. For the longest time, the Lake show wants to bring in Kyrie Irving. And their best bet is to give up Russ. With just one year left in James’ deal, the Lakers would want to make the most of his time.
