To the fans, Shaquille O?Neal is an open book. The Big Diesel has shared each aspect of his life, including relationships. The most public of his has to do with actress Shaunie Henderson. The couple who married in 2002 had four children of their own. Shaq even claims all it took was one look and he knew she would have his kids. Unfortunately, LA meddled in their wonderful relationship. His stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat led to some irreparable mistakes by the four-time champion.

He has openly admitted to his mistakes. And he continues to hold a strong stance against his own actions. In his memoir, ?Shaq Uncut: My Story?, the three-time Finals MVP spoke openly about being unfaithful. He claimed he and Shaunie were a happy couple. While there was no element of disrespect, he admits to being a classic guy with too many options.

The allegations led to an ugly divorce in 2009. The Big Aristotle has since grown and matured. Taking accountability, the 50-year-old blames only himself for messing up the marriage. Having acknowledged his mistakes, Shaquille O?Neal seems to be spreading the right lessons.

Ever since his admission, there has been a visible change in Shaq. Gone are the days when the Big Diesel made uncalculated choices. Today, the 50-year-old has a pool of wisdom even growing into a business empire. Along with thoughts, his mindset to has changed. The man who once cheated on ex-wife Shaunie Henderson is today standing against those practices.

Shaq took to Instagram to share the valuable lessons. He shared a video of a man speaking about the drastic improvements in his life after being committed to just one woman. He said, ?I have yet to see a man ruin his family because of infidelity and be the same person after that. Either they become a better human but there’s always that regret. There’s always that hole. I wish that that’s the conversation us as men should have.”

The Big Diesel has come a long way since his divorce. In some way, the separation from Shaunie Henderson helped him grow. Today he is a man of virtue and class. Shaquille O?Neal didn?t just take accountability, but he is spreading the word for a change. Who would have thought a crowd-pleaser such as Shaq would one day come down to this path?
