The Utah Jazz are out of the playoffs, again. The team from Salt Lake City has shown immense potential for a few years now, but they consistently have failed to live up to their expectations. And now a Rockets legend, who is known to hate the Jazz, has a weird request to Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, which will put the Jazz fans out of their misery.

He was most famed for his three-point shooting and was considered the second most important player on the championship Rockets team. Now he has a request to Elon Musk, which will surely cost him a lot of money if he decided to go through with it.

After the Jazz exited the playoffs, Maxwell had an idea that could end this disappointing run of the Jazz. He sent out a tweet that said, ” Elon Musk should buy the NBA and remove the Jazz franchise from the league. Not because America hates Utah but because it makes me sad to see their fan base heartbroken year after year. ”

Whilst joking, of course, this is an audacious request from the Rockets legend. The NBA is one of the biggest leagues in the world and it does not have a single owner as such. It is a collective group that consists of the owners of the 30 teams. So buying each and every single person out would seem like an impossible task.

Even if that was possible, this would cost Musk billions of dollars. But Musk recently bought Twitter for $44 Billion and hence, Maxwell thought it would be okay to propose an expensive idea to him.

This was another disappointing campaign for the Jazz. They went through a lot of turmoil in the year, but they somehow kept their issues under check. However, they just don’t seem to have the right tools to take them on a deep playoff run. And with their stars committed to expensive long-term contracts, the Jazz also does not have a lot of cap space.
