Gronkowski and the Patriots draw comparisons to Michael Jordan and the Bulls

On a TV segment on the NFL Network in 2015, Nate Burleson compared the 3x Super Bowl Champion, Julian Edelman ‘Slottie Pippen’, referring to how Edelman played second fiddle to Gronkowski and Brady in those Super Bowl runs.

Rob Gronkowski?is Michael Jordan and I’m going to call Julian Edelman ‘Slottie Pippen,'”?Burleson stated.

He further went on to call the Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski ‘Michael Jordan.’ Fans were confused by the comparison between Gronk and Jordan and instead believed it should be between Michael Jordan and Tom Brady, who is considered by many to be the GOAT of Football.

Inspired by the comments made by Burleson, the star wide receiver of the New England Patriots, Julian Edelman, took the comparisons to a whole new level when he made T-shirts of himself, Gronk, Brady, and Bill Belichick wearing Bulls jerseys. Edelman even sold those T-shirts on his website.
