The New York Knicks are one of the many famous franchises in the NBA. They compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. Some of the stars on their roster include Kemba Walker, Julius Randle, Evan Fournier, and others. Recently, NBA legends and superstars reacted to a Knicks’ star’s double-figure score in a game.

New York Knicks star Kemba Walker put up a massive performance against the Washington Wizards. Walker treated Knicks’ fans to a delightful performance at their home arena in Madison Square Garden. He scored 44 points for the Knicks as they lost to the Wizards.

28 points of Kemba’s 44 point haul came in the second half of the intense game. The Wizards, however, withstood pressure in the fourth quarter of the game to emerge triumphant in an away game victory. They eventually won by a score of 124-117.

Coincidentally, Kemba grew up in The Bronx in New York City. He serenaded his home crowd as the Knicks fell to a disappointing defeat. Kemba started his career in 2011 with the Charlotte Hornets.

NBA players congratulate Kemba Walker’s performance for the Knicks

Various NBA players congratulated Kemba Walker for his season-high 44 points. Despite Kemba’s humongous effort, he failed to guide his team to a win over the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan and a few other NBA celebrities expressed their joy on Twitter at Kemba’s achievement.

It will undoubtedly remain a game to remember for Kemba Walker who signed with the Knicks in August 2021.
