Basketball analyst Brian Windhorst of ESPN had an interesting take on Kevon Looney missing game 2 against the Lakers. In a recent episode of his show Get Up he said, “The Warriors went to strategy change of going with the smaller lineup which happened to coincide with Kevon Looney being sick.”?He added, “That could have been something that they could have tried to throw off the Lakers.”?

Windhorst, who has a net worth of $35 million, is having a hard time believing that Looney was not well during game 2. He thinks it’s possible that the Warriors wanted to surprise the Los Angeles Lakers. If it was an attempt to add a surprise element to the game by making Looney unavailable, it certainly worked well for the Warrior.

JaMychal Green, who took on Looney’s spot, proved to be an asset. He was quite efficient on the offensive end of the court. Draymond Green limited Anthony Davis to just 11 points. Ultimately, the Warriors came out on top showing why they are the reigning NBA champions. Irrespective of what Brian Windhorst thinks, Draymond Green and Stephen Curry were surprised to find out about Looney’s unavailability in game 2, as per Green’s revelation in his podcast.
