LeBron James started to dominate the game of basketball just a few years after Kobe Bryant started dominating on the court. The two legends reached the pinnacle of success by displaying their mettle on the hardwood. They faced each other on the court on multiple occasions before the Black Mamba retired in 2016. Over the years, there have been numerous debates across the hoops universe as to who is the greatest between them. Recently, a two-time All-Star, who played with both Bryant and James, hyped up Michael Jordan with his take on the lucrative debate, upsetting LeBron fans on the Internet.
Antawn Jamison is a former Los Angeles Lakers player, who played alongside the two NBA greats.? The now 46-year-old recently expressed that Bryant was ‘like Mike’ while James was more ‘happy-go-lucky’. However, his statements didn’t sit well with King James’ fans.

Jamison appeared on?The VC Show?lately and touched on several topics before explaining the characteristics of Bryant and James.
The two-time All-Star said, “The difference between Bron and Kobe. Kobe was more like Mike, just the mentality. Bron was more like happy-go-lucky, just still having a good time, all the handshakes they was doing.” However, things changed after a while, according to Jamison.
The former Laker added that the four-time MVP had to learn the killer instinct of Kobe and Mike under the tutelage of the the legendary coach Pat Riley, “So, I think Bron needed to go there with Pat Riley and learn about the mentality that Mike and Magic and those guys ? D-Wade already had it, so I think by those couple years, by him being down there in Miami, it took him to the next level.”
“And from what I heard after he got back from Miami from the people with the organization, you could tell he came back different,” Jamison added.
It was certainly quite fascinating to listen to his point of view as he played with both of them. The 2004 NBA Sixth Man of the Year could only play with the four-time champion for a brief period as he joined during the 2009-2010 season, the final season of James’ first stint with the Cavs. On the other hand, he was able to play for one full season with the Black Mamba?in the Lakers.
King James’ fans were not pleased with Jamison’s remarks
Shortly after Jamison poured out his thoughts, fans swarmed into Twitter to express their reactions on the whole thing. Most of them were disappointed with Jamison’s statements and saw it merely as a remark intended to make headlines and attract eyeballs.
