Russell Westbrook and the Lakers’ season has come to an end. Practically at least. After falling short of the play-in spots, the Lakers don?t have much to play for in the remaining two games. The last game against the Warriors also ended in a defeat and they have now lost three in a row.
Russell Westbrook has been criticized for his poor display all season. This has been by far the poorest season from Russ West?s high standards. The player with the most triple-doubles in NBA history has sadly fallen.

There have been many shouts of trading Russell Westbrook out of the Lakers from the fans. However, his massive contract does not make it that easy. When he joined the Lakers last year, the prospect looking at the roster seemed bright and promising. But it did not turn out that way, and rumors suggest that the Lakers might find a place to trade Russ in the off-season.

John Wall Russell Westbrook swap deal on the cards?

Toronto Raptors? 31-year-old point guard,?John Wall?has missed playing time all season. The five-time All-Star will opt into the final year of his contract with the Houston Rockets, and he’s set to earn $47,366,760 next season. Other than that a big?rumor?includes the swap deal of?Russ?and John.

Marc Stein reports that the Los Angeles Lakers will likely revisit a potential Wall-for-Russell-Westbrook trade this off-season. However a buyout is also a possibility. After a low Russ West season, the Lakers are looking for answers and this might be one.

Wall will turn 32 this year and will apparently be back to his full fitness very soon. John is the All-Time leader in blocked shots among players 6?3? or under. The last time we saw Wall in an NBA game was April 23, 2021, when he had 27 points, 13 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The last season he played for the Rockets, he?averaged?20.6 points. This might turn out to be a deal that would benefit the Lakers in the off-season.
