James Harden reportedly scared of public outrage amidst potential 76ers move
After a successful stint with the Houston Rockets, Harden joined the Nets in a move that shook the league up. However, this wasn’t received too well by several Rockets and NBA fans. Perhaps this has left the 10-time All-Star scarred. According to a new report, Harden wants out of Brooklyn to join Philadelphia, but fears getting bashed for it.

As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Harden is keen on joining Philly, but will refrain from personally requesting for a trade. This is because he doesn’t want to face the backlash, which he did previously.

Yet, he is hopeful that Sixers President Daryl Morey will secure an agreement with the Nets management before the deadline, sources claimed. And although the general expectation is that they will settle for a deal on Thursday, they are still measuring a risk-reward scenario.
