Sitting 9th in the NBA’s Western Conference, the Lakers’ front office will be looking to make some key acquisitions to help the team push for a higher position in the standings and avoid entry into the playoffs via the play-in tournament.
This search for possible addition to the team has only heightened due to the trade-deadline closing in. In light of this situation, the Lakers and Pacers have been involved in trade talks for Pacers’ guard Jeremy Lamb.
Jeremy Lamb’s Possible Trade to the Lakers
The struggles for the Lakers this season have been due to plenty of reasons. These include Russell Westbrook not living up to expectations, Frank Vogel’s coaching ability, injuries, and age. In order to ease the pain in the age and injury department, the Lakers have engaged in trade talks with the Indiana Pacers for Jeremy Lamb.
Per source, the #Pacers have had very serious trade discussions regarding Jeremy Lamb. Among the teams interested are the #Lakers and #Bucks. Lamb could add a nice scoring punch off the bench for a contender. He’s also an expiring contract.

The addition of Lamb to the squad will provide the Lakers with a bench player who is relatively younger and can provide a scoring boost as well. Furthermore, being a shooter, Lamb will even benefit LeBron James’ style of play.

Although the Lakers, at present, are not in title contention due to their struggles, the front office will still look to turn things around for the team and its fans. With their frontman, LeBron James also is likely to retire in the coming years due to his age, the franchise will look to provide their star with all the help he can get. It really is a do-or-die situation in LA right now.
