LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis are the team’s big three, and they take the lead. But there is still a problem.

The Lakers have their sights set on the two young stars

The 17-time NBA champions don’t want to look back on the last few years. In spite of having the icons in the squad, there are still some loopholes left in their game. Some of the major ones were shooting and injury. Injury is something, which is out of control, every player or franchise has to face it at some point. However, the issue here with Lakers is with the bench players.

The big three have been grabbing the majority of the Laker’s money cap. So they are looking for young stars to fit into their budget. Recently, an NBA insider Zach Lowe broke the news that the Lakers are close to signing two young studs, Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, but there is one condition. The condition is that the trade will be an unprotected pick.

Zach Lowe said, “The one I’ve said I would lose sleep over if I were a Buss or Mr. Pelinka is trading both picks to the Pacers for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner…. My best intel right now is if the Lakers called Indiana right now and said ‘Both picks unprotected,’ the Pacers would do that deal, would probably do that deal.”

The two stars can be a game changer for 17-time NBA Champions

If the Lakers get them on their bench, they will definitely fill the gaps that were left in the past few seasons. Buddy Hield will provide a shooting strength in the squad whereas Myles Turner will strengthen the center. This will let Anthony Davis dominate the power forward. But the Lakers are not done yet. They might have got their eyes on other players as well. LeBron James will continue with his perfect play.
